INDEPENDENT NURSTING CARE, a health care agency, has been doing business since 1995. It has four divisions in the Southtowns.

Flu-Pneumonia – one of the largest providers of Flu shots in NYS providing flu/pneumonia shots to clinics, businesses, community centers, schools and open public clinics at retail locations.

CPR/First Aid Training – provided to businesses / individuals. INC has three sites where individuals can register for classes.

Fitness & Wellness Division – provides health screenings and seminars, such as cholesterol, glucose, blood pressure, bone density screenings and many others. Diabetes education is also provided at Davis Road location. INC is a major sponsor of the WBEN Wellness Van, which provides the same services to community organizations throughout the WNY area.

Home Health Division – provides health care services to individuals requiring home assistance and also provides private duty care to individuals in hospitals.

Most INC staff live in the Southtowns area. Owners Julie and Mark Gemerek have lived in East Aurora all their lives.
